Purposes and Goals

1. Develop content that supports various learning styles, such as active learning. 2. Develop educational personnel who can utilize technology in a knowledge-based society. 3. Strengthen collaboration with industry, academia, government, and the private sector to expand Japanese language education.

Necessity and Urgency / Spreading Effect

In addition to the Post 300,000 Foreign Student Plan, the need to create an environment for Japanese language education is becoming more important as the acceptance of foreign human resources increases. The Center for Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues contents has provided Japanese language education to more than 160,000 students at more than 800 institutions, changing the nature of Japanese language education, including higher education. Therefore, we are aware that our responsibility is to continuously provide content as the Center for Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues.
