Comprehensive Renters Insurance for Foreign Students Studying in Japan
This is a way to prepare yourself against damage by fire or natural calamities, and not to inconvenience your guarantor for the expense
Normally, when renting a private apartment in Japan, you need a guarantor (hoshonin). If you join this plan, the burden of psychological and economical responsibility on the guarantor is considerably lessened, making it easier for foreign students to find a guarantor. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that students living in apartments enroll in this insurance policy.
For details, please ask at the Division of International Students.
