Master's Programs Entrance Examination Schedule

The entrance examination schedule varies depending on the graduate school. The following table details the schedule for the application period, the examination period, and the announcement of results for each program. Guides for completing the application forms are available as PDF files by clicking on the name of each program. Please note that all instructions in the guidebooks are written in Japanese. Note: ※The mark in the table refers to Tokyo Campus.

Depending on the number of students admitted, the graduate programs may hold a second admission　recruitment for entrance into the third year of doctoral programs, or for master's and doctoral programs entrance. In this case, the application period is scheduled for February 2010 (Feb 1 to 3).
For the Tokyo Campus the second admission recruitment will take place on Feb 7, 2010.

General Admissions Information

For more detailed information and to obtain an application package, please contact the Division of Educational Planning and Administration.

Those research students (non-degree research students) applying to take entrance examinations must provide a transcript of academics records from their university.

Depending on the number of persons admitted, a new session of examinations may be held for transfer into the 3rd year of a combined master's/doctoral program and for admission into certain master's and doctoral courses. Such examinations are scheduled for February.
